Our Christmas Adventures...

Well, it has been a while so I owe you one!!! We had a great Christmas and I hope that all of you did too!!!! We went to Houston the weekend before Christmas to visit some family and that was a blast. This kids had a really good time hanging hanging out with everyone. Thy do not get to see them very often. Once we got home from Houston we had Christmas at my mom's Christmas Eve and then spent the big day here at home with the kids. The kiddos absolutely loved their Santa gifts....even though Britlynn got her a little late (a story for another time). They did not really know the difference, that is the great thing about kids!!!!! Well, enough talk....here are some pictures!!!! I will catch up on the rest later!!!!
Happy New Year from the Hills!!!!!

Fall has arrived...

Well fall is upon us and before we know it will be long gone and winter will be here for a while. We here at the Hill house have been running like crazy. For those of you who do not know...Kaden is now 3-1/2, Britlynn is 21 months, and Tytan is 6-1/2 months. They are all getting so big and learning so much.

Kaden is in the Zebra class at school with teacher Beth. She is really good with him although Kaden has his moments. He is learning his letters and some Spanish. He almost knows more than me...hahaha. He is into Spiderman, Batman, Cars and all the wonderful boy stuff you can think of. He is already looking forward to Christmas, but then so am I.

Britlynn has become quite the talker. She says all her little words and it is way to cute. She can now count to three or four and is showing interest in using the potty (we are hopeful for that one). She love dolls, babies, and all things girly!!! She is such the little mommy!!!!!

Tytan is getting so big. He can sit up and everything now. He can also get on all fours and even pushes up off the ground till he is on his hands and tip toes. It is pretty funny. It will not be long before he figures this crawling thing out and then Kaden and Britlynn will have another thing coming. LOL. He is one of the most relaxed babies I know until something bothers him or he is hungry, then we have another story.

Braxton is good. He is at BCBS of Texas right now and also in school. I am in school fulltime and look forward to graduating in the spring. I can hardly wait.

Well, I think that about wraps it up for now. The above pictures are of the kids at a local pumpkin patch that my mom took last weekend. So enjoy!!!!!!

cHaNgEs!!

I know it has been a while and I am really trying to get better at this, so just stick with me. Either way, next week begins some new changes around the Hill house. The kids change classes at Rainbow. It should be a fun and interesting change. Tytan will stay in the baby class, of course. Britlynn will be a Lamb. We are very excited about this. It means that she gets to escape from the nursery area and be the big girl that we know she is. Kaden will be a giraffe. We have mixed feeling about this right now. He will be in a different class due to when his birthday falls (I think this is totally DUMB, by the way). All this year he was in an older 2's class where he has made many friends and it has been wonderful, but since Rainbow got the new director (I am going to bite my tongue here) things have been a little different (and I am not saying good). Anyway, in her infinite wisdom she believes that all kids should be put in class by age...not so true. So according to this theory Kaden goes into the middle threes this year. All of his friends, except 1, are in the older 3's. I am hacked about the whole situation and when I tried to make an actual appointment with the director she would not do it. She just said I am here from this time to this time just come in, yeah like that ever works. I AM HACKED!!!! So we have decided to just leave the situation alone and I am sure that Kaden will be just fine. I am just really disappointed in the leadership. Moving on...

I am getting ready to finish up at me current job and go back to school full time. I am really excited and so happy that I will be done in about 9 months only to start my MBA, but that is another time. Braxton is still working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. It is a night job but we are all hanging in there. He is still going to school part time and will graduate with his associates summer 2008. Then he starts the bachelors degree, not sure where yet though.

The kids are doing great besides all the new changes. Britlynn's vocab is getting a lot better and let me say she will let you know what is on her mind and how things are suppose to be done. Tytan is growing by the second. I just have to say that he is HUGE, but that is okay. We go to the doctor Aug. 29 for his 4 month check up. Kaden is also doing well. We have decided to put him in gymnastics for the school year. We are really excited about it and it should be really fun. But that is all I have for now.

Crazy Weeks....

Well, the title sums it up!!! We have had some pretty crazy weeks!!!! Updates...Kaden is doing great! We had a week there where we regressed back to accidents all the time but I believe that we are past that and mom is very happy about that!!!! He is still talking as much as ever, but you gotta love him. Britlynn is also doing great!!! We can definitely say that her vocabulary is growing!!! She is to cute with her new words, I love it!!!! And Tytan...well he is as cute as ever!!! We can say that he is going to be a big boy!!! I took him to doctor last week (for the wonderful cold that we all have) and he was 26 inches and 15 pounds 10 ounces. That is 3 inches longer and about 3 pounds bigger that just last month! I can hardly believe that he grew that much. Braxton is doing great too. He likes his new job and we are all kinda getting used to the idea. I guess some of his new news is that he is giving the police academy some thought. He will test in Feb. So that is pretty exciting We will see what happens. There is nothing really new with me. Things are the same. I am just busy with the family, but that is all good. Well, there is our update. I will try to post some pics later this week!!! Have a great week!!!!!!!
