I know it has been a while and I am really trying to get better at this, so just stick with me. Either way, next week begins some new changes around the Hill house. The kids change classes at Rainbow. It should be a fun and interesting change. Tytan will stay in the baby class, of course. Britlynn will be a Lamb. We are very excited about this. It means that she gets to escape from the nursery area and be the big girl that we know she is. Kaden will be a giraffe. We have mixed feeling about this right now. He will be in a different class due to when his birthday falls (I think this is totally DUMB, by the way). All this year he was in an older 2's class where he has made many friends and it has been wonderful, but since Rainbow got the new director (I am going to bite my tongue here) things have been a little different (and I am not saying good). Anyway, in her infinite wisdom she believes that all kids should be put in class by age...not so true. So according to this theory Kaden goes into the middle threes this year. All of his friends, except 1, are in the older 3's. I am hacked about the whole situation and when I tried to make an actual appointment with the director she would not do it. She just said I am here from this time to this time just come in, yeah like that ever works. I AM HACKED!!!! So we have decided to just leave the situation alone and I am sure that Kaden will be just fine. I am just really disappointed in the leadership. Moving on...
I am getting ready to finish up at me current job and go back to school full time. I am really excited and so happy that I will be done in about 9 months only to start my MBA, but that is another time. Braxton is still working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. It is a night job but we are all hanging in there. He is still going to school part time and will graduate with his associates summer 2008. Then he starts the bachelors degree, not sure where yet though.
The kids are doing great besides all the new changes. Britlynn's vocab is getting a lot better and let me say she will let you know what is on her mind and how things are suppose to be done. Tytan is growing by the second. I just have to say that he is HUGE, but that is okay. We go to the doctor Aug. 29 for his 4 month check up. Kaden is also doing well. We have decided to put him in gymnastics for the school year. We are really excited about it and it should be really fun. But that is all I have for now.
